About VAG Automatic

A specialist repair site built around known VAG DSG faults, not vague promises.

VAG Automatic is operated by Kovac Services Ltd from our Halesowen workshop. The site separates fixed-price known faults from diagnosis-led faults so garages and private customers know what to send, what not to send and what the repair will cost before the parcel leaves.

How we work

Repair the original unit where practical. Prove the fault route before selling the repair.

We use bench diagnostics, component-level inspection and controller-specific repair processes. The website keeps internal repair methods private while making the customer-facing scope clear.

Known-fault specialism

Green services are repeatable faults with a published price and defined route. Amber faults are assessed before a repair is sold. Red faults need the vehicle or gearbox diagnosing first.

Parts quality over anonymous lowest-cost parts

Where a repair requires replacement components, we source established, traceable repair parts appropriate to the controller version rather than building the service around the cheapest available clone.

Clear commercial terms

Standard turnaround is 2 to 3 working days on supported repairs, Same-Day Priority is +£49 where offered, repair work carries a 2-year warranty, and customers arrange carriage both ways.

If you already have a diagnostic scan, the fastest route is the Known Fault Library or Repair Finder. If the controller label or transmission family is unclear, send us the scan and a clear label photo.
